Announcing the Results of the 2025 Mautic Council Elections

Dark blue gradient background with New Council members in white large text and the mautic logo at the bottom.

The voting period for the 2025 Mautic Council elections has closed, and the results are in. We had three community members step forward for the two available seats.

Thank you to every General Assembly member who reviewed the proposals and cast a vote.

The results

The final vote count is as follows:

  • Ekke Guembel: 13 votes
  • Sven Döring: 12 votes
  • Stipica Grgic: 1 vote

Incoming council members

We welcome Sven Döring to the Mautic Council. Sven currently leads the Marketing Team and has been an active contributor for several years. His experience with enterprise environments and team leadership will bring an important perspective to the Council’s discussions.

We also congratulate Ekke Guembel on his re-election. Having served for many years as the Community Team Lead, Ekke has played a key role in the project’s development over recent years.

Note regarding Ekke’s term: Ekke is an outgoing Council member whose term ends this year. His re-election is pending a vote at the upcoming General Assembly on a proposed change to the governance model. This change would allow Council members to serve consecutive terms. This will be discussed and voted on during the meeting, therefore his election will be formalized soon after the General Assembly meeting.

Thank you also to Stipica Grgic for standing for election and for his continued interest in the project’s direction.

I want to thank all candidates for putting themselves forward to serve Mautic as a Council member – a position that takes a great deal of commitment. Once elected they will serve a term of three years. You can read more in our governance model.

Next steps

The election results and the governance model update will be ratified at the next General Assembly on 21 January 2026. We invite all members to join us as we formalize the new Council and look ahead to the next year.
