Community-powered security support for Mautic 4 ends on 31st December 2024.
When this happens, no further security fixes will be released for Mautic 4, even if there are security bugs which are disclosed and fixed in later versions which also impact Mautic 4. You should either upgrade to a supported version, or purchase ELTS. If you don’t, then you risk:
- Unfixed publicly reported security vulnerabilities
- Problems with plugin compatibility
- Legal compliance issues

About Extended Long Term Support
Extended Long Term Support (ELTS) enables you to receive security fixes for your Mautic instance after the end of the official security support period.
It gives you more breathing space to:
- Plan for and complete your update to the next version of Mautic
- Ensure compatibility of plugins, themes and other related resources
- Ensure compliance with IT legislation which mandates that you must be using a version of the software you use which is under active support
Duration
- 1st January 2025 – 31st December 2025 inclusive
- 1st January 2026 – 31st December 2026 inclusive

Mautic’s ELTS program only provides security fixes for CVEs relating to the Mautic core application and officially supported plugins.
Where a dependency identifies and fixes a security vulnerability, it will be updated where possible within the constraints of the supported version of Mautic. Read the Terms and Conditions for more detail here.
