I love Mautic because it is open source and allows you to do many marketing processes without any additional cost. You can create email marketing campaigns by making action decisions based on the selected criteria, you can classify contacts, you can integrate it with other tools to make it more powerful, you can even turn it into a CRM, it is fantastic.
We deployed Mautic because it was able to get us into Marketing Automation quickly and easily. We had a small marketing team and were definitely on a budget. I was migrating us from simple email automation through Mailchimp, and I would definitely say in that regard, it was an upgrade. We wanted to get more into lead tracking, replace LeadLander for web tracking, be able to track documents and quickly build out emails and landing pages. If you're looking to do simple web tracking, forms and landing pages, and email automation, it's a solid tool. If you like the idea of quickly being able to add focus items to your website it is also a great too.
