Everything you need to know about Mautic's Extended Long Term Support (ELTS) program

You can purchase Extended Long Term Support in blocks of one or two years for a specified version of Mautic.

This provides back-ported security fixes for that version of Mautic for the period purchased.

If you require support for a different version, you need to purchase ELTS for that version. For example, if you have one instance on Mautic 4, and another on Mautic 5, and both versions are outside of security support, you’ll need to have an ELTS 4 and an ELTS 5 plan active to receive the necessary releases for both instances.

Extended Long Term Support for Mautic covers the back-porting of security fixes released by Mautic for later versions of Mautic where relevant to the covered version, and provision of fixes for the covered version which may be discovered after the end of official security support.

Where a dependency identifies and fixes a security vulnerability, it will be updated where possible within the constraints of the supported version of Mautic. Read the Terms and Conditions for more detail here

Extended Long Term Support starts at $2,000 per year for a non-member, or $3,000 for two years.

Members of Mautic receive a discount on the price of purchasing Extended Long Term Support packages, and volume licensing is available.

There is no pro-rated discount for mid-year purchases.

Currently payments are processed via Open Collective, which allows you to pay with a credit or debit card, or a bank transfer.

Currently purchases happen on Open Collective, which transparently shows all transactions. If you don’t want your organization to be associated with the transaction, you can do this by completing the checkout as a guest.

It’s imperative that you fill out the enquiry form once purchased so that we can connect you up with your transaction. Use the ‘other’ option and provide the transaction ID from your receipt.

Yes, we offer volume licensing at $30,000 for an unlimited number of instances to be covered by Mautic’s Extended Long Term Support program.

If you have a number of instances to cover but not enough to warrant the volume licensing, we do recommend that you make one transaction for each, but you can send us a consolidated spreadsheet of the live instances via email at [email protected] rather than submitting the form multiple times. Please drop us an enquiry via this form if you have any questions at all, we’re here to help!

Once you sign up for ELTS, you’ll receive an email with information about next steps.

You will be asked to provide the live URLs for the Mautic instances that you wish to cover, which will be added to our allow list.

Then, we’ll add the provided GitHub usernames to our private repository, enabling you to access the releases made for the version of ELTS purchased.

Mautic’s ELTS team provide an additional – paid – service which allows ELTS members to request back-porting of security fixes for third party plugins where the maintainers are no longer supporting the version.

The team will estimate the workload required to provide such a service, and all ELTS subscribers will be informed of the opportunity to have access to those fixes for the specified Mautic ELTS version.

The cost of supporting the plugin will be shared between those interested customers, and if a customer wishes to have access in the future they will be charged the same amount as each contributor paid originally.

Extending support to a new Mautic version will require a new estimate from the team and a new sponsorship round.
